Put Your Winter Blues on Ice
Half & Full Day Winter Fishing Trips
Some of the best fishing in Montana happens during the off-season. Our winter half and full day trips give you access to the gorgeous Yellowstone, Gallatin, or Madison Rivers—without the crowds. Bundle up, learn from our experienced guides, then return home with warm memories that last a lifetime. Available for 1-3 people (per angler). Wading and boating trips are weather dependent.
What to Know Before You Go
Weather and river conditions can all affect the direction of a trip. Clients will be contacted to discuss preferences and any last minute changes should the need arise.
Lunch (provided on full day trips only), snacks, fly fishing rods, flies, leaders and tippet, and transportation to the river are all provided by your guide.
A list of suggested items to bring will be included in an email once your trip has been booked.
Wader rental is $25/trip and available upon request or recommendation.
Additional costs will include a Montana fishing license, which can either be bought online prior to the trip at the Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks website or at any local fly shop in person.
Any angler 12 years of age or older also needs a Conservation License ($10 non-resident) and an invasive species pass ($15 non-resident) in addition to his/her fishing license.
Anglers 11 years old and younger do not need a fishing license if accompanied by an adult with a valid MT fishing license.
